Finally, napanood ko rin ang "City of Angels" nina Meg Ryan at Nicholas Cage...
Maraming palpak na pelikula (mostly mga box-office bombs) sina Meg at Nicholas.
Sa pagkakatanda ko, Sleepless in Seattle lang ang film ni Meg na tumatak sa akin. With Nicholas, sa dalawang films ko lang siya naalala: Birdy at Leaving Las Vegas.
The rest, forgettable na lahat.
Kaya na-surprised ako sa kinalabasan ng pairing nila sa "City of Angels".
Ramdam na ramdam mo silang dalawa. It's a romantic fantasy na kakapitan mo kahit hindi kapani-paniwala. Napakahusay nilang dalawa dito.
The film really delivers... In terms of story, editing, scoring, direction... Smooth at nagbi-build up.
Walang eksena na unnecessary or awkward. Walang tapon moments.
Though, the ending is quite similar sa "One Day" ni Anne Hathaway (na una kong napanood), very effective pa ring device ang 'death by accident' sa ending ng isang romace movie.
Nakakaiyak siya!

just came from watching the "EVIL DEAD" remake...
never ko pa napanood 'yung original na itinuturing na classic ng mga horror aficionados...
itong updated version, though very familiar ang plot (i hear "Cabin In The Woods"), still terrifying... it's a pretty decent horror flick na pede pa ngang stand-alone ng ibang film...
magagaling na mga artista, maayos na sinematograpiya (creepy ang texture), slick editing at epektibong production design, "EVIL DEAD" remake is one of the best horror revamps to date.
wag kalimutang magsama ng barkada para sa mas masayang movie-watching experience.

napakahusay ng lahat ng artista dito (Arnold Reyes, Menggi Cobarubias, Dido de la Paz, Marife Necesito, Leon Miguel, etc)...

it's an intense socio-political thriller na hindi mo mabitawan... ang galing!

Super love the movie! its a refreshing take on a superhero concept... funny, very entertaining... sana pala, matagal ko na 'tong pinanood... para siyang Spiderman slash Quentin Tarantino film with all that over-the-top violence... unpredictable ang mga situations na kinasangkutan ng mga characters... winner din ang soundtrack...
At napakagaling pala umarte ni Chloe Moretz... I became an instant fan... lalo tuloy akong na-excite sa "Carrie" remake niya.
"KICK-ASS" is worth watching... gow!
